Mafdet was small for being a big cat, that's for sure. Large ears and long legs weren't deformities for her, but necessities. Helping her travel long distances and find meals with ease. Though her traveling has gotten her stuck in the rain. White beauty adored the being wet, but didn't like the water coming from above. It always got in her ears and caused her pain. So, because of the rain, she decided to find some shelter. She came up upon a sandy like area with a cave. This should do. She hoped that those inside wont mind, she doesn't take that much room. She'd cuddle along the side of the entrance, sniffing while keeping her dull eyes towards the inside. Flaming to catch a better "whiff" on who was here. Tail whipped about furiously as she slowly inched her way in. Anyone home?
Platinum. Juvenile king of the newly sprouting tribe lumbered down from his throne- A secluded section of their large home lifted above the earthy sub level by rocks and stones. Pillars composed of solid muscle, mainly used for combat and hunting large game, smoothly escorted the solid structure of steel and cerulean down to his grassy resting area. It's been a chaotic day for the youthful metallic lord; A wounded member lay in his pool, her bleeding only now has finally stopped. The rain pelted down and drummed on the entrance of the den, a leak of water dripped from the ceiling between cracks where light normally entered. A voice hit him first. Then the scent. It was an aromatic smell, and his nostrils were grateful for it. Chrome eyes ingested the appearance- A small serval. he's seen one before, Clever little things, but not much of a threat to adult big cats, "Greetings." His voice was getting deeper, but his facial expression remained calm, "Welcome to Solaris, how may I assist?"
Mafdet's fur bristled as the humongous saber looking cat came forward. Ears propped up, eyes widened just a tad bit more. Was Mag in deep trouble for trespassing? Slowly, her back raised up. Habit of sorts. Though when she heard him talk, she calmed herself. She was still highstrung, ready to bounce if she needed to. Ear twitched as she moved her head to the side, to see who was further into the cave before glancing back at the saber in front of her. She wasn't one to speak in front of a group. Because of that, she lowered her head a little bit as her ears laid somewhat flat, showing that she need some shelter. She hoped that he'd get the idea though with just some simple emotions.
Platinum, being the bulky dunce at times wasn't sure what the heck just happened in front of his face. At first, the smaller of the felines looked as if she was going to bolt. Only after he spoke and her actions were presented did he finally register what she needed. Poor guy, he doesn't read expressions too well just yet, "You can stay, But for the night." he stated firmly. Getting up to lay by his stump, he would hesitate and look back, "I'm Platinum," he said. Plat didn't like being blunt to a cat so small, he felt as if he was saying no to a cub. With a twitch of his whiskers he slid down on the ground in a lazy laying position. Most of his tribe were off in other parts of the den grooming one another's pelt or napping. Both sounded pretty good at the moment, but his mind was reeling to fast for him to focus.
Mafdet continued to watch Plat as he went back to his spot. For the night he says. Once he stopped moving, she found it safe to move again. She slowly walked to the side, still hoarding the cave wall. Nose was to the floor as she sniffed for a decent spot. Once found, she'd stretch and circle it, pawing it. It took her a little bit, but finally she laid down, facing the wall with her rear and with her head to the group. "Mafdet." She muttered out. She wasn't scared, but Maf was practically mute almost all of the time. Head was then rested between paws as she kept her eyes on every movement, ears always working away like they were supposed to.
Platinum rolled his masculine neck to the side, looking over his flank at her, "Pleasure." was his reply. For a small thing, she was very interesting. Metallic baby-blue mane was shaken as he tossed his head to rid his pelt of moss. He slumped down and fell to his side with a bored grunt. The bustle of the day started to relax, and so did he, "So, what brings you out in the rain?" He'd ask. And if there was no reply? He's challenge with this- "Not much of a talker? That's fine, I s'pose." A smirk would follow along with the falter of his attention to a bug on the stump he'd swat at gently, not to crush it.
Mafdet continued watching. Oh the poor bug. "Don't do that..." She muttered, ears twitching ever now and then, hearing the sounds the bug was making. She knew it was still alive, but wasn't to sure if he knew. She silently growled and nodded. It sounded more like a loud purr then anything really.
Platinum snorted a chuckle, "I wasn't hurting the little thing, just poking at it." he said in his playful defense, "Some ears you got, eh?" he inquired. he hoped to start a conversation. He wasn't the most... silent type when not handling Solaris issues, and that reminded him of Hawkstorm. Worry crossed his expression. She was half blind now, and probably could never hunt again. It was too unsafe. The older leopard took pride in her appearance for her age, so he knew the scars would be a chip away at her ego. Not to mention, she'd be afraid to confront Hitrost'. An unrestrained sigh erupted out of his jowls. Sometimes I hate this. He thought. I'm too damn young for this.
